Home Sellers: Report Request Form

Comparable Sales Report to assist you in Pricing Your Property.

No information that you furnish us will be divulged to any person or company nor be retained by us for any purpose other than to provide you with useful and satisfactory information.

The report will list some recent sales of properties similar to the one that you describe on this form. Often the most complete information that you can provide will give the best results.

These recent sales are called 'Comparable Sales' or 'Comps' by real estate appraisers and real estate agents. They are used in the "Sales Approach to Value" in a real estate appraisal. They are also very helpful when estimating a current market value for possibly selling a house or just wanting to know the present value.

This is the square feet of Gross Living Area (GLA). You may have a copy of the appraisal report or a copy of the Listing from when you bought your house or some other record that would indicate this information. If not, you could easily measure it on the exterior, if it is a one-story house (multi-story houses have some particular rules that should be followed). If neither if available, a close estimate may be used.
