Home Buyers: Report Request Form

Comparable Sales Report to assist you in purchasing a property.

No information that you furnish us will be divulged to any person or company nor be retained by us for any purpose other than to provide you with useful and satisfactory information.

The report will list some recent sales of properties similar to the one that you describe on this form. Often the most complete information that you can provide will give the best results.

These recent sales are called 'Comparable Sales' or 'Comps' by real estate appraisers and real estate agents. They are used in the "Sales Approach to Value" in a real estate appraisal. They should be used by real estate agents in helping clients pricing their property. They are very helpful when looking at houses with the idea of buying. Using this type information, you can feel more comfortable that the asking price is reasonable and you would or would not be paying too much at that price.
